Sales Regulations
We guarantee the authenticity of all items for sale.
In the unlikely event that an item you purchase is not authentic, we will immediately refund your purchase amount and take the item back.
However, the following exceptions apply.
① Items accompanied by an appraisal certificate
Items recognized as ‘Important Works of Art’ by the Ministry of Education (currently: Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology).
※ Exportation (carrying out) of items recognized as ‘Important Works of Art’ is prohibited by the Cultural Properties Protection Act and related regulations.
For items with old appraisal certificates, such as valuable swords, exceptionally valuable swords, and first-class exceptionally valuable swords issued by the Japan Art Sword Preservation Association (a foundation), we guarantee their preservation status to be at least as good as their current condition.
② Items labeled as ‘銘-不可’ (Unreadable signature) or ‘と銘がある’ (With a signature)
Cooling-off (Returns and Exchanges)
Cooling-off Period: Please be informed that we offer a cooling-off period during which you may return a product within 8 days of receiving it. If you wish to return a product, please contact us within this 8-day period and arrange for the return shipment at your expense.
Important Notes:
Returns requested after the 8-day period will not be accepted.
For returns requested after the 8-day period, the product will be considered for purchase instead of a return.
Please note that the following items are excluded from our cooling-off policy.
① We regret that we cannot accept returns for items that have been altered in any way
Please note that we cannot accept returns for items that have been altered or damaged due to mishandling, test cutting, polishing, any modifications, exhibition use, photography, mold making, viewing purposes, book copying, etc.
However, for minor damages (if they can be restored to their original condition), you may consult with our designated craftsmen and, if repairable, cover the actual repair costs for a return to be possible. Refunds will be issued after the repair is completed.
Please handle our products with care. To prevent scratches or damage, be sure to apply sword oil to the entire blade before returning Japanese swords (to the extent that the oil does not drip).

Fees such as transfer fees, cash-on-delivery fees, installment payment fees, and other similar charges cannot be refunded.
④ In the case of payment methods such as cash-on-delivery, refunds will be processed after the payment has been received by our store.
⑤ We cannot accommodate returns if you have items for trade-in
⑥ We are unable to process returns or refunds for orders with international delivery addresses
Returns for sword items may not be possible due to various circumstances, including the return of registration certificates, time limitations, etc.
When purchasing a new item from us, you may opt to trade-in your existing item
We have complete confidence in all the products we offer to our customers.
If, for any reason, you decide to part with a purchased item, we encourage you to consult with us before considering selling it elsewhere.
Regarding trade-ins, if it’s within one year of your purchase, we’ll repurchase the item at 70% of the original purchase price.
However, please note that the following items are excluded from this offer.
The following conditions apply to trade-ins:
① If the condition is different from the time of purchase.
② If it has been used as an Iaito (practice sword).
③ If the current market price is lower than the purchase price.
④ If there was a trade-in at the time of purchase.
⑤ If the item was shipped overseas.
⑥ In the case of books.
Please note that the transaction fees and interest related to the use of shopping loans at the time of purchase are not included in the purchase price.
The price used as the basis for trade-in will have the consumption tax (3%, 5%, 8%, 10%) deducted.
For trade-ins beyond one year, items with trade-ins at the time of purchase, items with different conditions from the time of purchase, and other situations, we will provide fair and sincere assistance at reasonable prices. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for further discussion.
Regarding purchases
At our company, we take pride in selling only products that we have full confidence in. If, for any reason, you find yourself needing to part with a product you’ve purchased from us, we are committed to offering you a fair and honest solution based on the current market value at that time.
Before consulting other retailers for a sale, we kindly ask that you reach out to us first. We’ll be happy to assist you. Please note that if you used credit card payments or shopping loans at the time of purchase, the payment processing fees and interest are not included in the purchase price.
The applicable price will be determined after deducting the consumption tax rate at the time of purchase (3%, 5%, 8%, or 10%).
The application deadline is 3 days
Due to the nature of our products being one-of-a-kind, there may be other customers waiting. If we do not receive your payment or payment method confirmation within 3 days of order confirmation, your order will be canceled. There are no penalties or fees associated with cancellations. Please note that we do not require any down payments at our store.
