DetailsAround Einobe in the Heian period, a swordsmith named Masakuni from Yamato came to live in Namihira, Taniyama District, Satsuma Province, and became the Namihira school. The child is called Yukiyasu. Furunamihei is a school of swordsmiths from the Nanbokucho period, and their swords are similar to those of Yamatomono, but in comparison, the edges of the ground blades are fine, the groundstone feels soft and sticky, and the niuguchi is also similar. It has a weak and warm heart, and is unique in burning down the edges of its wards. This work is a long sword with a nameless stem, and based on its appearance and the shape of the ground blade, it can be said to have been made by the Namihira school, which was made in the late Heian period to the early Kamakura period.
