KeijoHira-zukuri construction with an iori-mune, featuring a wide mihaba and a moderately deep curvature (sori).
KitaeThe jihada is an itame mixed with mokume, richly covered with thick ji-nie, with vivid chikei appearing throughout.
HamonThe hamon is based on a medium suguha with gentle notare, covered with fine ko-nie, and displays a bright and deep nioiguchi.
BoushiThe bōshi runs straight, forms a small round tip (ko-maru), and returns deeply.
HoriOmote: A carving of a descending Kurikara Dragon. Ura: A hoko (Buddhist spear). The carvings are by a different artisan named Yoshinaga.
NakagoThe tang is ubu (unaltered), with a shallow iriyama-shaped tip (saki iriyama), katte-sagari file marks, and one mekugi-ana.
