DetailsOsafune Tsuramitsu is rare, and this one swing is probably the only one that survives. The way the inscription is cut is almost the same as that of Ukyo no Suke Katsumitsu, so it is assumed that there was some connection. This work depicts the appearance of a sturdy mid-Muromachi period uchikatana with well-preserved flat flesh and a sharp handle, with a sharp grained surface and a sharp edge, and a straight blade with small alternating eyes and gaping blades. There is a lot of confusion, a bright and clear Niiguchi, and a lot of burnt hats. It is listed in the Illustrated Encyclopedia of Fujishiro Famous Swords and Dictionary of Japanese Swordsmiths, Old Swords Edition.
